  2. 2. Download and extractDownload the Windows ZIP, right-click it, choose “Extract All”, and keep all extracted files together.
  3. 3. InstallOpen the extracted folder and double-click Install Orbis CLI.cmd. Wait for the success message, then close the installer window.
  4. 4. Start and sign inClick “Open Orbis CLI” above, or open PowerShell and run:orbisPaste your copied Key when prompted; the input stays hidden.
  5. 5. Use OrbisSelect Auto Router or a model, choose a routing policy, type your question, and press Enter. Use /route to change routing.
  6. 6. Sign outRun this before changing users or removing the app:orbis logoutThis removes the saved Key from this Windows account.
  7. 7. UninstallOpen PowerShell in the extracted package folder and run:powershell -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File .\uninstall-orbis-cli.ps1Confirm the removal message, then close PowerShell.

Security: Windows protects the saved Key with DPAPI for your current Windows user. This internal alpha is unsigned, so Windows may show a security warning.

The website never sends your Key to the CLI. Both guides cover the same complete lifecycle; only installation, secure storage, and launch behavior differ by operating system.
